MY ORDER

  • In-stock pieces are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days of your order.

    Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

    Pre-ordered items can take 3–4 weeks to be dispatched from the date of purchase.

  • Delivery times are estimates and begin once your order has been dispatched.

    Spain: 2–3 business days.

    Europe: Up to 5 business days.

    International: Approximately 7–10 business days, depending on the destination. Please note that international deliveries may take longer due to customs processing, which is outside our control.

  • All orders are shipped via UPS from Spain, with tracking and signature required. Free standard shipping on all orders over £150.

    If you would like to use an alternative courier, such as DHL, or request special shipping arrangements, this can be organised for an additional cost. Please contact us after placing your order to arrange this.

    EU customers: No import taxes or duties apply.

    Non-EU customers: Import taxes or duties may be charged by your local customs authorities.

  • Our studio ships directly from Spain.

    For customers in the European Union, there are no additional import duties or taxes.

    For customers outside the EU, customs duties or import taxes may apply, depending on your country. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.

  • We accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be in original condition.

DESING & MAKING

  • Our pieces are hand-finished without industrial tumbling or harsh chemicals, ensuring a gentle and eco-conscious approach.

    To prevent tarnishing, store your pieces in the dust bag, ideally in a non-damp area away from direct sunlight. For best results, keep them inside a sealed plastic bag.

    Tarnish will occur over time. When this happens, gently clean your jewellery with soda powder and a few drops of water to form a soft paste. Rub softly with your fingers or with a toothbrush, then rinse with water and dry thoroughly with a soft cotton cloth.

  • At JAKHU Studio, we primarily use sterling silver sourced in Peru, a significant portion of which is recycled. Moon Drops — Collection 000 is crafted entirely from 100% recycled silver. We continue to increase the use of recycled silver across our collections while seeking to minimise waste and the use of harmful chemicals wherever possible.

  • Silver 925 (Sterling Silver) is an alloy of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, such as copper, known for its durability.

  • Our Artisanal Collection is handcrafted in collaboration with a family-run silversmith workshop in San Jerónimo de Tunán, in the Central Andes of Peru.

    Moon Drops — Collection 000 is made in collaboration with artisans and family-run workshops in Lima, Peru, throughout the process, from mould development to the final piece.

  • JAKHU jewellery is thoughtfully made in small quantities through a slow and considered process. We work directly with skilled silversmiths, local artisans and family-run workshops in Peru rather than mass-production factories. Keeping production intentionally limited allows us to work closely with the makers, giving each piece the time, attention and craftsmanship its material and form require.

  • The Artisanal Collection evolves through an ongoing exchange between the studio and its artisan collaborators at the workshop in San Jerónimo de Tunán. Maria spends periods in Peru researching, designing and developing samples, working closely with the silversmiths throughout the process. Some designs emerge through this collaboration, as the knowledge, skills and traditional techniques of the makers become part of the creative process itself.

  • JAKHU’s designs develop through an ongoing exchange between personal experience, research, making and collaboration with artisans in Peru. For the Artisanal Collection, Maria develops designs through her own creative practice and research, often exploring pure forms and geometric structures, both before and during her time in Peru. She then works with the silversmiths at a family-run workshop in San Jerónimo de Tunán, in the Central Andes, to develop and refine samples. Some pieces emerge through this process, while others evolve through collaboration, as the makers’ knowledge, skills and traditional techniques become part of the creative process.

    For Moon Drops — Collection 000, the entire process takes place in Lima. Maria selects the original forms individually. Then she works with local artisans to develop the moulds, casting and finishing, while the spontaneous encounter between molten silver and water brings an element of chance and transformation to each piece.

  • Yes. Where possible, JAKHU can create custom-made or bespoke pieces in collaboration with our artisans. We can also remake selected pieces that are out of stock or adapt existing designs to suit a client’s preferences. A gold-plated finish can be requested for selected existing pieces, and bespoke or custom-made pieces can also be created in gold upon request. Each request is considered individually, depending on the design, materials and making process involved.
